In today’s video you’re going to learn how to create animated videos for youtube so animated videos are very popular on youtube and you’re going to learn about a new tool that anyone can use so i’ve talked about this tool in the past but there’s been some new features that have just been updated that make it even.
Easier to use this tool so with animated videos you can create any type of video so you can create a book review video and explain a video sales video tutorials and more but for today’s example we’re going to create a book review video so book reviews are very easy to book review videos are very easy to make and it’s also very easy to.

Description below so this is one of my test accounts right here that i’m where i make my tutorial videos on so it’s called be it’s vyond.com there’s a link in the description so this is what the dashboard will look like once you create your account but you might not see anything here because.
If you just created your first account right here so right here at the top just click on create a video and it’s going to give you three options so you can create a contemporary video a business friendly video or a whiteboard animation so whiteboard animations are great for book reviews but these kind of videos are getting quite saturated on.
Youtube a lot of people are making these types of videos there’s nothing wrong with that that means you know that’s working but i’ve noticed that these videos are actually getting more views on youtube nowadays so this is like just normal contemporary animated videos right here so i’m going to click on select start.
Then it’s going to load up the video editor so it’s going to have some pre-built templates in there for you but we’re gonna start from scratch and create the book review so the book review the the book that i want to review is called made to stick so this is a book it’s a great book and i highly recommend you guys read this.
Book and i’ve written a review on this already so what i’ve done is i used writer to write up a review on this book and this isn’t going to be a detailed video on how to create a script for a video i’ve i’ve made plenty of other tutorials on that before i’ll leave a link to a tutorial tutorial on writer in the description.
Below then i created a voiceover using this tool called wellsaidlabs.com and again this isn’t a tutorial on how to create ai voiceovers i’ll leave a link to another video in the description below so you can see what the voiceover sounds like right here the book made to stick is about how to make your ideas and stories stick.
With others the authors contend that the most memorable ideas are simple ideas that are concrete credible seal of approval emotional and memorable cool so that sounds good so i’ve got the voiceover now and i’ve also got the script so i just simply hit download and it’s ready to go and again if you want to see a.
Tutorial on exactly how i made uh wrote the script then created the voiceover out of it links to all the tutorials in the description below so now let’s go into vyond.com and start creating the video so the first thing i’ll do is upload the voiceover so right here on the top left hand corner just click on upload.
And just click and drag your files right here or just click on upload file right here and choose your file so i’ve already uploaded the file and it’s right here so if i click on that you’ll see the timeline getting added the the voiceover getting added to the timeline right here so beyond already added this template.
Right here so this is the title some paragraphs right here so we want to start from scratch so i’m going to click right click on this and click on delete so we’re going to start with the blank canvas and again i’ll delete this blank canvas as well because we’re going to add some scenes in there so just right click and delete this as well.
So click on add scene right here and click on choose scene so there’s three options choose you can add a blank scene continue from the last scene or choose a scene so since this is the first scene let’s click on choose a scene so this is a book review so i want some an image of someone reading a book so.
Right here at the top i’m going to click on reading and just search up reading so perfect so there’s someone reading right here there’s someone reading on the couch so you can pick your favorite one right here so i’m going to click on this one living room and it’s going to add that scene into.
Your timeline perfect so then you can delete this last scene right here so now this is the first scene so let’s just preview this and see what all of this looks like so to preview just click on this preview at the top the book made to stick is about how to make your ideas.
So that’s all there is for now so that’s just a two second review right here so i’m just going to click on exit right here and let’s just add some text maybe right here at the top so i’m going to click on text and just choose the first one right here but there’s plenty of other templates you can choose from but i’m just going.
To choose this simple template right here so let me just delete the other one because i clicked on it twice and i’ll drag and drop that right here so you might not be able to close this section right here i don’t know why this is happening i think this is a glitch.
Within veon.com so hopefully they’ll fix that soon so this is kind of a glitch and there’s no close button here and it’s always covering up the video so the only way to close this is if you just click on another tool so just go in here and just click on enter effect right here then it closes that then when you click back on the tool like this right.
Here or just click away on like another tool it just closes this right here so like double click on it so again this isn’t working for some reason let me choose maybe another tool there we go so now it’s gone so that’s kind of annoying it’s a glitch that vyond has and it’s very annoying but.
It’s still worth to still definitely worth using this tool because it still saves you a lot of time hopefully they’ll fix that glitch soon on on this software so what i’ll write here is i’ll just say made to stick and i’ll make this a little bit bigger so just click and drag this right here.
And right here under the text settings i’m going to align this to the left and i can also choose a different font so i can choose something like monsterat so that’s quite a that’s a bit too big so i’ll make the font a bit smaller uh even smaller so i’ll make it like 36. great and you can choose your favorite font.
This is just the font that i liked you can choose something else that suits your brand so maybe something like this great so then at the bottom of that so let me just copy and paste this actually before we do that let’s just add some animations to this.
So i’m going to animate that maybe like right here so i want that to be right here and it says made to stick so to add an animation to this i’m going to click on this then click on enter effect and then where it says none we’re going to click on that and choose from one of these options.
Right here so you can choose a blur so it kind of blurs in sparkles split or you can make it pop so the one that i use quite a bit is slide so you can make it slide from left so let me just hit play right here so you can see this it slides from the left there’s another one slides from top to.
Bottom so slides left to right so that’s an animation right here and or you can make a slide from um left to right so that’s the one that i use the most right here so i’m going to click on apply and then you’ll see a few options right here where it says delay the animation.
And the duration of the animation so i’m going to leave all of these as it is and we’re going to talk about this soon so let but before we do that let’s just hit uh click on preview and right now we’re just talking about the basics the book made to stick is about how to make your videos so let me just play that one more time the book made to stick is about how.
To make your own so it just goes from left to right made to stick and if you want to uh just let me just the book let me just click on exit right here so maybe it looks better here that’s completely up to you you can click and drag it anywhere that you want so now i’m going to right click and paste this.
So now there’s two ticks and since we copied and pasted it from here the same animations that will apply to this one will be applied to this one as well so now i can simply click on this and just change the text so at the bottom i want this to be the author so the heath brothers so i’m not.
Actually sure if that’s the actual author so don’t quote me on that so i think it says heath brothers right here but those aren’t the actual authors i just uh i added that in right here so i’m just gonna highlight this and make this font a little bit smaller so highlight it click on text settings.
And then choose a smaller font and let’s just make this a little bit smaller right here there we go and i’ll align these with the top text right here let me just move that a little bit make sure it’s nicely aligned perfect so now when i hit play when i hit preview sorry.
You’ll see the book made just about animates together so what i wanted to do is animate this first and then animate in the authors so how do you do that so click on exit and i’m going to click on the bottom text right here and then click back on enter effect and this is where the delay comes in.
So we want to delay the animation by let’s just say half a second so first this one’s going to animate in and then half a second later this is going to animate in let’s hit preview now the book made to stick is about how to.
Make there you go so i want that to be animated a little bit quicker so it’s a bit too late there so let me just click on this click back here and maybe i’ll choose instead of uh five seconds maybe i’ll choose uh 200 milliseconds and i want the animation duration to be a little bit shorter maybe like 400 milliseconds.
So that’s the length of the animation so to make it um to it comes from left to right and it takes half a second that’s what we’ve set it up right here then for this one we made it to be uh 200 seconds let me just choose this uh make it about 400 seconds and for this one i’ll make it 500.
So let’s say preview now the book made to stick is perfect so that looks much better so let me just the book major stick is about so that’s much better so that that’s just the basics of animating with beyond.com so now let’s click exit now let’s go into the character so for the character i actually want to.
Delete this right here because i want to make all of these a little bit bigger so i’m going to click on all of these make them quite a bit bigger and place the character right here and maybe i’ll even move this both of these let me just choose both of these right here and move them right here.
And also i’ll just move drag this a little bit further so there’s a bit more space so it’s all nicely spaced out perfect so now this is our character but let’s say you want to add another character instead of this one so you can simply click on the character and click on replace.
So this could be anyone so it could be like someone casual someone industrial a stick figure someone’s a sports person so if i click on sports you can see all types of athletes right here so i’m going to choose someone more casual and maybe i’ll choose someone like maybe this guy here.
Or maybe i’ll choose this guy there we go so i’ll keep this guy right here cool so he’s reading and then so there’s the expression on his or the action that he’s taking so he’s sitting and he’s reading a book so i’m gonna hit click save on that and then click back here and click on action again.
So this is the replace so that’s the character then the action is the action the person is taking taking so i’m going to search up reading and see what comes up so right here there’s a person reading there’s this one this he’s sitting on the floor and he’s reading and he’s here he’s sitting reading a big book let’s.
Try this one okay so that’s a bit of book right here so there’s plenty of other options right here as well so i’m just going to stick with that one right here then i can choose the expression so right now he doesn’t really have any expressions right here so i’m going to click on.
The action right here and i can choose happy so you can see he’s happy maybe i can choose angry you can see he’s angry so there’s plenty of other options right here as well so for this one i’ll choose something like um maybe.
He is happy i’ll just stick with that great and that’s it so now if i hit preview let’s see what all of this looks like the book made to stick is about how to make your ideas perfect so that’s all the animations so right now the intro only lasts for two seconds so let’s just make this a little bit longer so i make.
It quite quite long just to hear out the entire audio right here so let’s just hear what the audio has to say and then we’ll start editing the next scene the book made to stick is about how to make your ideas and stories stick with others the authors contend that the most.

Remember your ideas it needs to be memorable it needs to be have a seal of approval emotional and all of that so let’s add in a scene for that so let’s just see where they start talking about it so the voiceover starts talking about it around six seconds i think that the most memorable ideas are yep so that’s around six seconds.
So then i’ll click on choose new scene so i can either continue from the last scene or i can choose an entirely new scene so i’m gonna click on choose new scene and for this one i will say let’s just search up ideas there we go so this is a good option right here.
Yep so that’s a really good option but there’s plenty of other options right here as well so there’s a people like in a room actually this one looks really good so he’s presenting to a people in a room and they’ve got all these and he’s trying to make his ideas memorable so i think this is the perfect.
Scene right here so again this is a glitch it’s hard to get rid of this so you have to kind of click on it click on something else and then it goes away so for this one i want to change the character back so to the original character that we had so simply click on the character click on replace.
And choose the character that you had before perfect so this is the main character that we always had great so now let’s just make this a little bit longer and let’s preview this so i’m going to click on preview.
Tend that the most memorable ideas are simple ideas that are concrete okay so nothing really is animating here right here so we need to add in the animations ourselves so where it says um there’s this little speech bubble right here so i’m gonna make this a little bit bigger so actually i make all of these quite a bit bigger so i think i’ve got a nice.
Idea right here so i’m going to make all of this bigger i’ll make rotate this a little bit more so it kind of sticks to the people’s head there we go i’ll make it even bigger perfect so right here i want the speech bubble to get animated so i’m going to click on.
Enter effect click on none and choose pop so this is another animation that i use quite a bit so i’ll just do that one more time so simply click on here choose enter effect click on what you want to animate click on enter effect click on pop and there’s plenty of other ones here as.
Well like sparks split stripes and you can preview all of this right here but i use pop and then i click on play right here so you can see it’s just a simple pop but you can see some of the other ones so you can see there’s like a little pop with some animations that all pops with like little rings on it so i’m just.
Going to choose this simple one right here i’m just going to use the normal pop then i want this one to come in same thing so i want this to pop there we go and i’ll click on apply but i want this one to be delayed by about 300 milliseconds great so now let’s hit preview.
So these are just something that the most memorable ideas are simple idea so that’s just some speech bubbles coming up so uh what i could actually do is just make this delay a little bit more so it just starts animating right away so what i can do is double click on this click on enter effect and i’ll just choose maybe um.
400 milliseconds on this one and then for this one i will say um 700 milliseconds great okay so uh don’t think i saved it right here so 400 here so let’s have a preview pretend that the most memorable ideas are similar.
So now uh when this we’re trying to make the ideas memorable so he’s our character is standing there presenting an idea and it needs to be memorable for those people right here so let’s make whatever the voiceover says we’ll add those icons in here as our simple ideas that are concrete.
Credible seal of approval emotional and memorable so let’s just find different icons that fit that so a concrete idea so i’m going to go into prop right here and just search up something like idea let’s see what it comes up with great so there’s ideas right here so a concrete idea maybe you can add that in so i’ll just add this in right here.
So a concrete idea maybe this one goes in here and i’ll also delay the animation so this one should come in first so this one animates in 700 milliseconds into the scene so this one should be quite a bit after that so maybe i’ll make this one pop again.
Click on apply and this one should animate in maybe uh two seconds after the scene starts so let’s hit preview there and let’s see what this one looks like tend that the most memorable ideas are simple ideas that are concrete credible seal of approval perfect emotion so that looks good right here and maybe what i.
Can also do so let me just click on exit what i could also do is just make all of these a bit bigger as well so right now it’s just a bit too small so what i’ll do is just make all of these quite a bit bigger and i’ll just move these to the center right here like maybe this guy uh maybe we don’t actually need this guy.
Right here so let me just get rid of this guy and maybe i’ll just move this table over here and i’ll move this character to this side and the chair as well and the laptop and the coffee.
Great so i’ll put that in right here so the next thing that they’re talking about is concrete ideas and then i think it’s emotions so again let’s go into prop right here and just search up emotion and let’s see what it comes up with there we go so emotion yep so this is a good icon right here.
For emotion so this one animates in two seconds in so this one maybe i’ll make this pop and maybe i’ll make this pop with dots or rings like this one click on apply and for this one i will say two point two seconds in and then maybe i’ll delay it even more by about.
2.4 seconds great so now let’s hit preview tend that the most memorable ideas are simple ideas that are concrete credible seal of approval emotional and memorable the book is organized so it needs to be delayed a little bit longer so let me just have preview again so i can take a good look at that one more time pretend.

And i’ll do the same amount as this one so 2.2 seconds two point three seconds so let’s just leave it at that and for this one i want this to be delayed a little bit more because it’s talking about some other things later on in the track so maybe i’ll make this one like.

See what that comes up with yep so that’s like a thumbs up so we’ll just use that and i’ll make this smaller rotate it and maybe we’ll we will add for this one so it should come right after this so this one’s animation is 2.2 seconds.
In this one is two point so maybe out for this one i’ll just put in 3.4 seconds let’s see what that looks like so i’ll click on enter effects pops uh for this one maybe i’ll see something like yep so that little animation with the little sparks right here.

And also he’s not really doing anything he’s just kind of um he’s not really animated so if you want something like an animated one you can choose one of these right here so i noticed at the start when he’s reading all of this is kind of just frozen in place so maybe you want this to be animated so let’s choose something where.
He’s actually animated so let’s hit play so the ones that have this little player account those ones are animated so let’s click on apply and i think let’s hit play on this one as well there we go so this one was also animated so let’s click on preview now the book made to stick is about how to.
Make your ideas and stories okay so this is animated but it’s you can’t really see it because he’s just kind of looking from left to right right here so i’m pretty sure you can’t really see it so it’s not so i want i want it to be quite a bit more action there so let me just click back here choose another one instead so.
Again you choose one of these ones with the little play icon right here not the ones with this little zoom icon so maybe i’ll choose this one let’s see so he’s just kind of looking through papers or maybe i’ll choose this one yeah this one’s a bit more animated so.
I’m gonna click on apply perfect and again i’ll click preview the book made to stick is about how to make your ideas and stories stick with others the authors contend that the most memorable ideas are simple ideas that are concrete credible seal of approval.
And again if you want to add actions to this part right here you just simply click on the character to choose the scene click on the character click on action and just choose an action right here you can search up an action like presenting and let’s see what there is so let’s hit play.

To do it does take longer than other videos like simply using stock images and all of that but if you really want to create animated videos this is the way to go because before it took way longer to create animated videos so before we had to use tools like after effects or other animated animate animation software to create these types.
